A new online study group will start the 15 lesson Contract and Legal Document Drafting Course on Wednesday 8th May. The course will cover the essential skills of writing clear contracts and formal documents, explaining essential legal vocabulary and the use and legal effect of basic contract clauses, including covenants, indemnities, warranties, and guarantees. The meaning and use of many specific, technical clauses are also covered, including Liquidated Damages, Termination, Confidentiality, and many boiler-plate clauses. The course also covers SAAS contracts and SLA agreements, and considers the future impact of Block chain technology and 'smart contracts'. Participants will be trained in the best practices for structuring commercial contracts and writing individual clauses that are both understandable and achieve their objectives.
