1. A new online study group will start the 15 lesson Contract and Legal Document Drafting Course on Tuesday 10th May at 6:30 PM (UK time). The course covers the essential skills of writing clear contracts and documents, explaining legal vocabulary including the use, and legal effects of basic contract clauses. Many specific, technical clauses are also covered, including Liquidated Damages, Termination, and Confidentiality clauses. The course also covers SAAS contracts, SLA agreements, and 'smart contracts'. Participants will be trained in the best practices for structuring commercial contracts and writing individual clauses that are both understandable and achieve their objectives. The course teaches legal English, plus legal soft skills to deal with clients and perform standard legal tasks. Participants will improve their legal vocabulary, legal knowledge and spoken legal English. The course is for anyone wishing to improve their legal English skills, for use in their work and studies. 4. A new online study group will start the 15 lesson Contract Law Course on Monday 9th May at 6:30 PM (UK time). This course covers the law and vocabulary of contracts. The lessons cover all aspects of contract law from negotiation and formation, to completion and performance, including breaches, remedies, agency, and contract interpretation. The course covers practical contract law questions which lawyers deal with in real-life scenarios. A new online study group will start the 15 lesson Company and Corporate Law Course on Wednesday This 15 unit course includes both the law and practical instruction on how to form companies, issue shares and capitalisation, the duties and powers of directors, and how companies are governed and make decisions. The course also covers the law and documentation of Mergers and Acquisitions, company closures, and sale of assets. The course covers the law, meaning, and use of the essential Legal English words and phrases needed by lawyers working in the field of company/corporate law and other business structures.
