Because Africa contains so many Countries and different cultures we have 2 bases of operation there. One for the MENA Region and Maghreb and one for Sub-Saharan Africa. The contact details are below.
MENA Region - British Legal Centre (Egypt)
Our partner in the MENA Region is the British Legal Centre (Egypt), which is headed by Dr. Sarah Al Ghorab who is based in Cairo.
Dr. AlGhorab is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Law in the Faculty of Law and Legal Studies, at the German University in Cairo (GUC), and serves as a full-time Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University.
Dr AlGhorab is highly experienced in the education field and lectures on Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Private International Law, and Human Rights.
Dr. AlGhorab earned her LL.B from Alexandria University, Egypt with Highest Honors in 2007 and completed her LL.M in Public Law at Cairo University, Egypt. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Alexandria University.

Sub-Saharan Africa
Our partner in all other Countries in Africa, outside those in the MENA Region, is Mr. Jan Tromp. Mr Tromp is an experienced lawyer and legal English trainer who is a partner in a prestigious South African Law Firm. He was born in Cape Town and is a native English speaker. He is devoted to the practice of law and the teaching of English. He has practiced law as an attorney for over 25 years and is a specialist in the fields of commercial and property law. Jan graduated with a BA LLB Degree at the University of Cape Town where he also majored in English Literature. He is passionate about English in its spoken and written form and is a published poet. He has taught English as a foreign language in Greece and Hong Kong and, as a first language, in South Africa. He enjoys empowering lawyers to utilise the English Language to best advantage in the practice of law.

ONLINE COURSES
During the COVID lockdown, we have been providing all of Our language courses online and all of our students have enjoyed this course modality. Technology is a valuable tool and in this period it has been indispensable. Many of our students have also enjoyed the opportunity to follow the courses provided by the British Legal Centre: some of them have followed the live lessons broadcast over the Internet and others have watched the pre-recorded video-courses by logging into their accounts on our website.
